Buluttan Secures $1 Million Investment from Arya VC and APY Ventures

Buluttan, a company developing AI-powered weather intelligence solutions, has completed a $1 million bridge funding round with the participation of Arya VC and İvedik Venture Capital Fund (GSYF), managed by APY Ventures.

With this latest round, Buluttan has raised a total of $2 million in funding, including a $1 million pre-seed investment in 2024 from ScaleX, Cem Sibay, Kamil Sözen, and Kerim Kotan.

Founded in 2022 by Güven Bölükbaşı, Gökmen Güven, and Mehmet Kıral—driven by the legacy passion of Eren Kısmet—Buluttan develops location-specific, high-resolution numerical weather forecasts and AI models. Its solutions are used in decision-making processes, particularly in industries where weather conditions directly impact operations.

Buluttan’s SaaS-based weather intelligence products provide decision support systems for air, land, and maritime transportation as well as logistics operations. In the renewable energy sector, the company offers production forecasts and analytical tools for wind, solar, and hydroelectric power plants, as well as insights for energy markets.

The company is also part of the Horizon WeatherGenerator consortium, which aims to develop a foundational AI atmospheric model in Europe and brings together a broad meteorological ecosystem. Within this framework, Buluttan collaborates with leading national meteorological institutions across Europe.

Buluttan plans to use the new investment to accelerate its growth in Türkiye and expand its operations across European and Middle Eastern markets.
