Saykal Elektronik raises $4 million investment in mobility technologies

Saykal Elektronik raised $4 million in an investment round managed by Fark Labs and led by İş Portföy. This investment will support the company’s goals of expanding into international markets and increasing its R&D and production capacity. Saykal aims to shape the future of mobility with its technologies developed in radar sensors and power electronics.

Saykal Elektronik, which develops innovative solutions in mobility technologies, raised $4 million in an investment round managed by Fark Labs and led by İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. Renewable Energy Technologies Venture Capital Investment Fund.

In the investment round, the company’s first investor Fark Holding participated with a follow-on investment, while funds managed by APY Ventures, namely Bilişim Vadisi VC Fund and T3 VC Fund, as well as Anadolu Isuzu RePie Portföy and Empa Elektronik were among the investors.

This investment will be used to support Saykal Elektronik’s rapidly growing operations, strengthen its working capital, and realize its strategic expansion goals in the U.S. and other international markets.

Saykal Elektronik CEO Yücel Saykal said, “With this investment, we aim to shape the future of mobility by developing innovative radar sensor and power electronics solutions that can compete on a global scale.”

Emphasizing that they focus on autonomy and electrification, the two main problems of the mobility ecosystem, Saykal added, “With this development, we are taking a strong step toward becoming a global technology company by offering high value-added solutions for the autonomous electric platforms of the future.”

Saykal Elektronik CTO Anıl Sırma stated, “With our proprietary technologies developed through R&D in the fields of radar sensors and power electronics, we aim to address not only today’s but also tomorrow’s mobility needs. In the post-investment period, we will further deepen both our hardware and embedded software capabilities and bring high-security, high-precision systems to the global market.”

Saykal Elektronik COO Ahmet Bilal Kalkan said, “This investment is a significant turning point for expanding our operational capabilities and production scale. With our advanced quality systems and lean manufacturing approach, we will respond to increasing customer demands in a more agile and scalable way. We are restructuring all our process infrastructure in line with our vision of expanding into international markets.”

Burak Sezercan, General Manager of İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş., stated:

“We believe that Saykal Elektronik’s ability to develop high-tech solutions that can compete globally in the automotive sector’s transition to autonomous and electric vehicles, along with its agile organizational structure that enables it to rapidly bring these solutions to international markets, increases the strategic value and growth potential of this investment. With this investment, we not only support local startups within the transformation of the mobility sector but also offer our investors the opportunity to invest in globally competitive technology companies.”

Mustafa Keçeli, Fund Manager at APY Ventures, said:

“Saykal Elektronik’s ability to provide end-to-end solutions across a wide spectrum makes it a strong player not only locally but also globally. Saykal’s technical depth, high product quality, and scalable production infrastructure position it strategically. As APY Ventures, we believe in this vision and engineering strength, and we are confident that Saykal will become a much larger player in the global mobility ecosystem.”
