The Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Fund, whose founders include Albaraka Türk subsidiary Albaraka Portföy (APY), has invested $100K in Peyk.
The Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Fund has invested $100K in Peyk, which offers a next-generation website monitoring service. This seed investment received by Peyk marks the 5th investment of the Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Fund. It is worth noting that the founders of the Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Fund include Albaraka Türk, Vakıf Katılım, and Bilişim Vadisi.
The startup’s field of activity
Developed under Gais Security, Peyk was recently incorporated by Osman Doğan, Can Umay, and Burak Dönmez. With its website monitoring service, Peyk provides solutions for both businesses and individual users in just a few steps.
With more than 15 modules, the platform aims to offer a wide range of services, from detecting inappropriate content on websites to tracking source code changes, identifying security vulnerabilities in the technologies used on websites, and detecting product price changes. In this way, Peyk can detect not only availability status—traditionally monitored by conventional monitoring products—but also changes in content.
We can say that with its user-friendly interface, Peyk enables users to quickly adapt and start monitoring processes in a short time. In addition, thanks to its built-in correlation engine, professional users can create millions of new rules using predefined rules.
The startup’s future plans
Meanwhile, it should be noted that the startup aims to develop a product family focused on next-generation monitoring. With integrations such as Slack, Teams, and Telegram, which Peyk plans to launch in the near future, users will be able to manage their monitoring processes without leaving their communication applications.
Currently offering an open beta version, Peyk invites users to test the beta version.
Emin Özer, General Manager of Albaraka Portföy, made the following statement regarding Peyk as the 5th investment of the Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Fund, of which they are among the founders:
“I find it extremely important for the development of the ecosystem that many innovative startups have been invested in so far. With this investment, I believe that such multi-stakeholder structures are very important for the growth and development of startups. And I believe that together we will continue to grow the ecosystem with more value-added and innovative investments.”
