Düşyeri Secures $3.7 Million Investment at a $35 Million Valuation
Düşyeri, an edutech startup focused on children, has raised a $3.7 million bridge investment at a $35 million valuation ahead of its upcoming global Series A round.
The rapidly growing startup offers over 60 specially designed games and content applications and has reached more than 350,000 users with its “Kids Mode,” launched in December 2021.
The investment round was led by Ali Sabancı and Öncü Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı, with participation from prominent investors including Ali Koç, APY Ventures (via APY Bilişim Vadisi GSYF and APY Start-up GSYF), Ayşegül Akşak, Finberg, and many other notable names.
Düşyeri had previously raised funding in 2018 at a $20 million valuation from high-profile investors such as Ali Sabancı, Ali Koç, Nevzat Aydın, Begüm Doğan, Varol Civil, and others.
With the rise in children’s screen time during the pandemic, concerns around exposure to inappropriate digital content have increased globally. In response, Düşyeri developed its “Kids Mode” software to provide a safe digital environment for children across all devices.
Powered by AI, the platform personalizes content based on each child’s age, interests, and learning abilities, offering tailored games and educational content while supporting their development. Over time, its smart algorithms learn from user behavior to continuously improve the experience and ensure that screen time contributes positively to child development.
