Lokum Games raises 33 million TRY investment led by Boğaziçi Ventures and APY Ventures
Turkey-based game studio Lokum Games has secured a 33 million TRY investment in a round co-led by Boğaziçi Ventures and APY Ventures.
The round also saw participation from angel investors Soner Çaşur, Mustafa Kamil Ağel, and Kamer Dikran Alyanakyan.
Known for popular titles like Zula and Zula Mobile, Lokum Games continues to be a key player in Turkey’s growing gaming ecosystem.
The newly raised funds will be used to support the company’s global expansion. According to Co-founder and CEO Genco Alp, Lokum Games is currently developing a Mobile MMO FPS game aimed at meeting international standards. Leveraging their experience with the Zula brand across Turkey and the MENA region, the company plans to bring this new title to a global audience. He also noted that, with the support of this investment round, they aim to initiate the beta launch in Q1 2024 with a strong go-to-market strategy.
