Alternatif SuperApp, a fintech initiative by Macellan, has completed its first investment round, raising $4.7 million at a valuation of $62.5 million.
The round included investors such as Qinvest Portföy, APY Ventures Bilişim Vadisi VC Fund, Fonangels, and CapitalTurk Holding.
Alternatif SuperApp offers fintech solutions to B2B clients by integrating businesses from various sectors into digital transformation through its mobile application. Its services include digital wallets, loyalty programs, CRM, and customer analytics. On the B2C side, the app aggregates multiple digital wallets into a single platform, providing an alternative to cash and card payments.
Göktürk Yetim, Chairman of the Board of Alternatif SuperApp, stated that the investment will accelerate their growth momentum, as they already serve over 250,000 customers across more than 100 brands and 1,300 branches. He emphasized that the funding will also validate their future potential.
Yetim added that the company plans to use the investment in line with its sustainability, innovation, and growth strategies, aiming to strengthen its marketplace position and expand its user base in Turkey in the initial phase.
Looking ahead, Alternatif SuperApp plans to expand internationally, starting with pilot operations in Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, while continuing to grow its customer base and establish new partnerships with businesses.
