Gamester Kids Secures $850K Investment
Gamester Kids, a Turkish startup focused on education technologies, has raised an $850,000 investment from APY Ventures and the founders of Doping Hafıza—Semih Hakyemez, Ali Karakuş, and CEO N. Mert Kalkavan.
Gamester Kids is the developer of Tiny Minies, an educational and entertainment app designed for preschool children. The company plans to use the investment to expand the reach of Tiny Minies to more families globally.
Founded three years ago, Gamester Kids combines technology, entertainment, and education to support early childhood development. All content within Tiny Minies is created in collaboration with educators and child development experts from the U.S., the U.K., and Türkiye.
The app includes a wide range of content such as games, books, stories, meditation, yoga, and sleep music, offering a holistic experience for children.
Currently available in Turkish, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic, Tiny Minies generates 85% of its revenue from international markets, with its largest user bases in the U.S., Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye.
Co-founder Onur Karcı stated that Tiny Minies has become a trusted platform used by millions of families worldwide—from Australia to Brazil and from Saudi Arabia to North America—and that the company will continue taking exciting steps with both Tiny Minies and new products in 2024.
Mustafa Keçeli from APY Ventures emphasized that Tiny Minies stands out as a unique platform that combines modern technology with entertainment to support children’s education, and expressed their excitement to contribute to Gamester Kids’ growth journey.
