Saha Robotik, a startup developing autonomous delivery robots, raises $3 million investment
Saha Robotik’s $3 million investment round included participation from APY Ventures, Yavuz Altun, Driventure, CVentures, Nupa, and two foreign angel investors.
Last April, we shared that Saha Robotik, which develops fully autonomous service, service, and delivery robots, had raised $380K in an investment round led by APY Ventures. According to the latest information, Saha Robotik has now secured a new investment after one year.
According to the information shared by Saha Robotik, the startup has raised $3 million. The round included existing investors such as APY Ventures and Happy Center CEO Yavuz Altun, as well as Ford Otosan’s corporate venture capital company Driventure, Coşkunöz Holding’s corporate venture capital arm CVentures, Nupa, and SPVs established in Turkey by two foreign angel investors.
Saha Robotik provides solutions to its customers across a wide range of use cases—including restaurants, hotels, hospitals, large complexes, business centers, and airports—through its autonomous service, service, and delivery robots. According to the company, the newly secured investment will be used to accelerate its mass production process and international operations.
In May 2021, Saha Robotik launched the autonomous online market concept Speedy.market at Skyland Istanbul, and to date has delivered more than 60,000 orders to end users using elevators.
Murat Ayrancı, Co-founder and General Manager of Saha Robotik, stated that while they develop service robots with the quality and ease of use of consumer electronics, they also design service models through their subsidiary Speedy.market. He added that they will use the investment to build mass production infrastructure and expand into international markets, and that the participating investors will strengthen them both in production and expansion.
