Mega Fortuna raises $2.3 million in seed funding

Mega Fortuna, a Turkish startup developing mobile games and applications, has raised $2.3 million in a seed funding round.

The round was led by APY Ventures, with participation from the Tacirler Portföy Future Impact Fund, managed in partnership with Vestel Ventures.

Founded in early 2023 by Şeyhmus Ölker and Burak Göncü, Mega Fortuna has built a portfolio of over 30 games and applications. The company has reached more than 2.5 million monthly active users, leveraging rapid product development and aggressive marketing strategies to stay ahead of competitors.

According to the company, the newly secured funding will be used to expand its product portfolio and further develop its technologies.

CEO Şeyhmus Ölker described Mega Fortuna as a technology company that develops games and applications aligned with evolving user needs and large-scale digital trends, emphasizing that they do not limit themselves to a single category.

Mustafa Keçeli, Fund Manager at APY Ventures, stated that Mega Fortuna produces value-added technologies, applications, and hybrid casual games in the mobile entertainment space, and expressed confidence that the team’s innovative approach and diverse portfolio strategy will lead to a compelling success story.
